Got dots?
I don't have many background stamps but I have to say, I LOVE the Distressed Dots background stamp! I could use it on almost every thing I create but I do control myself. You'll notice I manage to sneak polka dots in here and there on a lot of my cards/projects, whether it's designer background paper or an embossing folder.
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE polka dots! ;o)

Valentine Marshmallow Yummies
Sticking with the Valentine projects, I wanted to share this yummie little treat that anyone would love to receive! Now, I don't like marshmallows myself but LOVE these! Maybe because they are dipped in chocolate?!
Anyone can make these delicious nuggets. My girls make them all the time.
Just melt some Almond Bark (vanilla or chocolate), dip the marshmallows in it and set them on wax paper to dry. Then, melt a different color, (I used the Wilton Candy Melts in Pink for these and poured it into a baggie after they were melted and snipped off a small bit of one corner) and drizzle on top. Before it starts to dry, you can sprinkle on any topping you'd like. I LOVE sprinkles so that's what I usually choose.
WELL...
There is a lot going on with Stampin' Up! right now, so I thought I would reshare all the specials so you don't

Sweet Spring Mason Jar
Do you have mason jars just sitting around waiting to be used, like I do? I have seen lots of cute ideas using them so I have purchased different sizes in hopes that I will actually sit down and recreate one. Well, I finally did that using products from the Stampin' Up! Spring Catalog.
I used the new Two-Tone Ribbon pg 13, the Bitty Butterfly punch pg 13, Flower Trim pg 5, Tea Lace paper doilies pg 5, and creped filter paper pg 6. You can view and purchase the Spring Catalog HERE
So fun, so cute!

Technique Tuesday
It's been a while since I posted a technique so how 'bout I share a couple of cards I made using the *hot right now* Chalkboard Technique. This is one of those *stinking quick, cute and easy* techniques, that I couldn't pass it up!
Perfect for Valentines Day!
Had to do a throwback of the green chalkboard. This one was fun! Just rummaged through all my cling stamps and made a collage of birthday themed stamps on a large acrylic block, ink it with Versamark, and heat emboss with white embossing powder. Then, with a sponge or washcloth, pick up white ink right from the pad and smear it around. It's best to layer by adding a little at a time, here and there to give it that used chalkboard look. Have fun!
