12 Days of Christmas ~ Day 2

Today is Day 2 of my *12 Days of Christmas Promotion*!

Every day I will have a different special, just in time to buy yourself an early gift, or to make shopping for your favorite stamper a little easier. Feel free to share this with your spouse, family and friends to give them a little "hint" as to what you really want for Christmas.

When you order the daily special, you will earn a gift certificate for a specific amount. Accumulate your gift certificates over the course of the promotion, and then redeem them all at the end for whatever you would like for yourself (or for someone special).

I hope you enjoy my 12 Days of Christmas!

To participate, it is important that you email me your order each day (do not go to my online store and place your order, that won't count). I need to put these orders in for you at the end of the 12 Days so you are earning your gift certificates.

Every day that you place an order out of the Idea Book & Catalog or the Holiday Catalog (clearance rack items can not be part of this promotion...sorry), your name will be entered into a drawing for your choice of either:

Hostess Set: Mixed Medley (clear mount*) OR
Hostess Set: Wacky Wishes (clear mount*) OR
Hostess Set: Carry On (clear mount*) OR
Hostess Set: Four Seasons (clear mount*)
*acrylic blocks sold separately

Great News! I will be picking three names ~ the first name I draw, that person will pick one set from the list, the second name I draw, that person will pick one of the remaining sets, and the third name I draw, will pick from the remaining sets. So, three people have a chance to win, and since you are earning multiple tickets I could pick the same person twice! Sound fun?

Please remember this special is for today only, December 2nd and will end at midnight.  If you happen to get your emails at work and miss out on the weekend announcements, just let me know and those will be available to you on Monday.

I can only accept orders that are delivered to the United States, thanks for understanding!

Go Punch Crazy

Card making, 3-D projects and scrapbooking is so easy when you use Stampin' Up! punches, plus they coordinate with so many stamp sets, too!

Look how cute these trees are!  Can you believe they are made with the 3 different Scallop Circle punches?!  Just punch, dry emboss, cut in half and curl the 2 *corners* towards each other and glue.  Then, run the twine up thru the center of the 3 *cones* and you have a sweet tree!

There are so many awesome punches available, I am sure you will find a couple you just have to have!  They make *must have* stocking stuffers, too!

Purchase at least $33.00 (before tax and shipping) worth of punches in any combination.  Punches can be found on pages 182-185 in the main catalog, as well as, pages 7 & 11 in the Holiday catalog.

Earn a Gift Certificate worth $4.95

I will start an order form for you the first day you order and will continue to add to it, if needed.  At the end of the 12 Days of Christmas Promotion, I will close your order.
If you have ordered $150.00 (before tax and shipping) you will also receive
Hostess Benefits starting at $25 in additional FREE merchandise.
This offer is only available through me, Jill Parker, not Stampin' Up!

Please note these specials are not available on workshop orders, club orders, or orders you place on-line. You must email me, Jill Parker your order to make it count.

Your orders will be shipped to one address, so if you are getting goodies for a friend you will have to get the goodies to them after it comes to you. Thanks for understanding.

If you have any questions, please holler.

Admit One

My girls and I get to the movies every so often and I always try to keep the ticket stubs.  Do any of you do that?  Is that weird?  Anyway, I found this cute idea on Pinterest HERE but when I went to the site, there weren't any directions.  I LOVE figuring out how something is made and putting my own twist on it.  So, this was a fun challenge for me!

I always try to have frames on hand because they are so versatile and you never know when you're going to need one.  I have found some great ones at the Dollar Store over the years.  And, I just happened to have a 5" x 7" shadowbox from there.  I thought it would be perfect for my movie tickets.

This is my completed project.  I LOVE IT!  Now my wallet is void of all those random movie tickets and they are out where we can see them and reminisce on our movie adventures.

This is how it looked before I started.

I sanded all of the edges of the frame.

Then, I added Basic Grey and Soft Suede Stampin' Up! ink in layers with a sponge and also, directly swiped the ink pad on the frame in places.

I attached the background paper (retired Stampin' Up! background paper) to the inside of the back piece of the frame with glue dots.  Then, I made my *admit one* tag and used my Crop-a-dile, punching overlapping holes, to make a slit along the top.  I had to make sure it was wide enough for me to slip the tickets through.

Ignore the upside down *admit one*.  I boo boo'd and flipped it over and stamped the one I used on the other side.  I just wanted to show you how I attached the pieces of Dimensionals.  I attached it to the background paper so that the dimensionals would sit above the slit.  Does double duty, covers the unsightly opening and gives it a little dimension.

Here it is all distressed and almost done.

Of course, I had to add a scrunched flower and don't forget the ticket stubs!

*Fun Gift* Kit Offer

I'm feeling so bad right now!  I was cleaning the fish tank today and had to leave to pick up the girls from school.  I was gone for over 2 hours and when we came home, our white fish had jumped out of the bowl and was on the floor.  I don't know how long he was laying there but I put him back in the water and he moved a little then sunk to the bottom.  I pushed him with the net and he swam a little on his back.  We've been looking over him and are hoping he makes it.  We've had these goldfish for over 4 years and they are already miracles with how long they've lived.  So, we'll see if he makes it through the night.  Here is a pic of our fish from last year.

I had my *Fun Gifts Class* on Sunday and was very excited to share some cute projects that will make great Mother's Day or Teachers gifts.  The project I am sharing today is great for a desk.  I haven't given it a name but maybe you can help me with that.

I had been thinking about this project for a couple weeks, trying to figure out dimensions, the look/feel, etc... and was so excited when it was completed.  It came out even better than I expected.
